A life long resident  of Augusta County, I graduated from Riverheads High School and received a Bachelor's of Science degree in agriculture from Virginia Tech. Farming has always been the family business. The 300-acre operation, part of which has been in the family for 90 years, has produced beef cattle, feeder lambs, and various crops. Merrimac Farms has also been a contracted turkey grower for Cargill LLC for 25 years.

I received my original Real Estate License in 1976 and been involved with sales and financing in the automotive and Real Estate industries since.

My wife Sharon and I have four children: Scott, Karman, Andrew, and Kristan.
